History Matters: DC Stephenson Trial

Join us for this upcoming Community Conversation!

Learning more about our history helps us see both the values and beliefs we’ve upheld and those we must strive to change.

The DC Stephenson trial in Noblesville brought to light the corruption and violence at the core of the Ku Klux Klan’s influence in Indiana during the 1920s. Remembering this moment calls us to pursue justice and progress with both awareness and courage.

Join us for a conversation about this chapter of our history and how understanding the past shapes our present and future. Together, by acknowledging where we’ve been, we can help create a more inclusive community moving forward.

Community Conversations is a chance for our community to listen to and talk with each other. The goal is to foster civil conversation, increase understanding, and broaden perspectives, resulting in a more welcoming and inclusive community.

Every Community Conversation will be facilitated by a trained Table Host and include a conversation guide to help ensure an enjoyable and constructive conversation.

The event is FREE. RSVP here.
