History & Milestones
OUR BEGINNINGS Founded to educate, celebrate, challenge, and inspire a more welcoming Noblesville. Hosted cultural celebrations, community forums, and educational programs highlighting diversity. Expanded programming and became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
BUILDING MOMENTUM Co-hosted a peaceful racial justice gathering attended by more than 3,500 people. Launched the multiLens podcast and community conversations on race and social issues. Expanded historical education, Ally Orientations, Juneteenth programming, and community partnerships
EXPANDING IMPACT Launched Community Conversations and trained residents to facilitate meaningful dialogue. Established the Beth Niedermeyer NDC Scholarship for Noblesville High School seniors. Hosted seven Community Conversations, expanded community outreach, and coordinated a county-wide Leadership Summit.
DEEPENING CONNECTIONS Launched The Listening Series and Cultural Dinners to encourage learning and connection. Expanded Community Conversations to address mental health, politics, history, and immigration. Strengthened regional partnerships and added student and community voices to NDC leadership.
SCALING IMPACT Launched Our Stories, One Nation, a Community Conversation tied to America's 250th anniversary, inviting residents to share their stories. Led the Community Belonging Initiative designed to understand and impact belonging in Noblesville in cooperation with other local organizations. www.Noblesvillebelongs.com Introduced Start Where You Are, a one-hour program helping residents discover how to build belonging right where they already are. Invited 6-12th grade students to submit an original story celebrating belonging to be considered for publication.
